Contaminated Soil Remediation

Contaminated soil can be a major concern if discovered during a construction project. Soil may contain hazardous substances such as asbestos debris, lead and a range of other contaminants. Remediation is required to ensure a site is safe prior to construction work continuing. Contamination may be caused by things such as asbestos buried under an old slab, previous industrial site use, illegal dumping activities or imported contaminated fill. There are number of strategies to remediate contaminated soil and we work in conjunction with an asbestos hygienist or environmental consultant to determine the method best suited to each site.
